Badapple Theatre On Your Doorstep
A Live & Local / Whitwell Forward Production
August de Ville is a master baker and his tiny village bakery is the talk of the town, as the WI ladies flock for miles to sample his sumptuous sponge and beautiful buns.
“Couldn’t meet a nicer feller”, the village proclaim. But does the cheery façade hide a dark secret? That he shares the same name as the hated newspaper magnate – responsible for the Bottledale bank crash – is, August claims, just a sad coincidence.
Expect a riotous night of clowning, comedy, Machiavellian subterfuge and LIVE BAKING !!!
This is Theatre On Your Doorstep at its best with a brand new one-man show, as part of our No Hall Too Small Tour, starring the irrepressible Colin Moncrieff, actor, clown and raconteur as the shameless August de Ville.
